Taylen Green 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Practice Squad a Strong Possibilty
If you like your quarterback big and athletic, then Taylen Green is worth a spot on your dynasty rosters. Green stands out in the Cleveland camp, listed at 6'6, 227 pounds, with speed that is elite for the quarterback position after clocking a 3.37 40-yard time at the combine. Green is as explosive as they come, posting a nearly perfect Relative Athletic Score. However, athleticism alone is not enough to push your way up the depth chart. While Green is destined to end up on a practice squad in 2026, early returns have been positive, as seen during OTAs and camp, with better-than-expected play from the pocket. Green has all the physical tools to get you excited, but needs time to refine his mechanics, fundamentals, and overall consistency. Coach Todd Monken spoke early in OTAs that he was impressed by Green's ability to learn and process, but also noted that to play on Sunday, Green had to work on footwork, cadence, and tightening that release.
