Caleb Douglas 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: So, You're Saying There's a Chance
If you survey the front office from all 32 teams around the league, 31 of those times would tell you that the Miami Dolphins reached on the selection of Caleb Douglas. Miami was likely the only team that had a third-round grade on Douglas. With the turnover of the Dolphins roster, Douglas is in the conversation of potentially being fantasy relevant. Miami cut ties with both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who have each been staples of the Dolphins' passing attack over the last few seasons, giving way to the likes of Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, Malik Washington, Jalen Reagor, and Kevin Coleman Jr. Miami's best receiver may not be able to suit up this season, as Chris Bell is recovering from an ACL injury. Miami's current top three receiver projection features a combined total of 70 receptions for 712 receiving yards, with Washington responsible for a majority of that, hauling in 46 passes for 317 yards last year. On my rosters, Douglas wouldn't even get a sniff. After a back-to-back 54-plus reception seasons resulting in at least 840 receiving yards, Douglas may be one of the best receivers in one of the worst receiver rooms in the NFL.
