Blake Cashman once again returns to anchor the middle of the Minnesota Vikings defense. Over the last two seasons, Cashman has been one of the more productive tacklers in the NFL, accumulating 256 tackles and resulting in back-to-back seasons averaging more than 13 fantasy points per game. Cashman entered the 2026 season in the final year of a three-year deal he signed back in 2024. There is all the more reason for the Vikings linebacker to elevate his game to the next level as he bets on himself to sign a contract extension or secure that bag on a long-term deal. Minnesota's run defense looks drastically different when Cashman is out. With Cashman, Minnesota has had favorable results in terms of expected points added, thanks to limited rushing attempts while he patrols the interior and his ability to limit explosive runs.
