Houston Astros left-hander Bryan King appears to be solidifying his role as the top ninth-inning option with Josh Hader on the 60-day IL. Bryan King picked up his third save of the season on Tuesday, tossing two innings of one-run ball to secure the win. This performance marks two saves in his last two appearances for the 29-year-old, who is now tied for the team lead in saves. His season metrics include a 3.45 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. Now in his third season in the majors, his career 2.78 ERA positions him well for high-leverage situations.
