Hideki Matsuyama Has The Approach Game to Win at Cadillac Championship
Hideki Matsuyama finished tied for 12th at the Masters Tournament three weeks ago and will now prepare for this week's Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral Miami in Miami, Florida. Matsuyama has six top-25 finishes and no missed cuts in nine starts this season. He started off the season with four straight top-25 finishes and has secured two in his last two starts. Over the past 12 months, Matsuyama ranks in the 58th percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is worth mentioning because the Blue Monster Course plays over 7,739 yards which makes it the second longest course in the rotation this year.
