Conference Championship FLEX Outlooks for Fantasy Football

J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) was limited in practice again on Thursday for the second straight day this week, according to DenverBroncos.com's Aric DiLalla. Dobbins' 21-day practice window was opened on Wednesday, but he would need to be activated to the 53-man roster to play in the AFC Championship game on Sunday against the New England Patriots. The Broncos are holding out hope that Dobbins can return this weekend for the first time since suffering a Lisfranc foot injury back in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, it may not be realistic to expect Dobbins to play against the Patriots unless he upgrades to a full practice on Friday. And even if Dobbins does return against the Pats, Denver may not feel comfortable using him as the lead back right away over rookie RJ Harvey. Before his injury, Dobbins was on pace for a career year, rushing for 772 yards and four touchdowns on 153 carries in 10 games.

Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles running back Blake Corum, who had carved out a healthy role in the Rams' backfield in the second half of the season, saw only six total opportunities to Kyren Williams' 26 in the team's Divisional Round win over the Bears.

The narrative heading into the playoffs had been that Los Angeles was saving Williams for the games that mattered most, but a Wild Card win over the Panthers, which saw him out-touch Corum by a much thinner 15 to 13 margin, added uncertainty to how the backfield would be split moving forward. In an overtime win on Sunday that rarely saw Williams come off the field, the Rams may have provided some clarity. Corum is RotoBaller's RB6 for Championship Weekend, while Williams is RB2 for fantasy playoff leagues.

Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks

The loss of Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), who tore his ACL in the Divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers, is a significant one, but ESPN's Brady Henderson writes that it shouldn't matter if Kenneth Walker III "continues his recent tear." Walker had 19 carries for 116 yards and three touchdowns last Saturday in the win over the 49ers, and he finished with 100 yards in the big Week 16 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.

In the regular-season finale against San Fran, he had 97 yards to put him over 1,000 rushing yards on the season. "I thought this was the most decisive he's ran up to this point, and as expected, you just keep getting better and keep finding ways to improve, especially in the run game. He's done a great job," head coach Mike Macdonald said. With Charbonnet now out, Walker's volume should increase, making him a top-three fantasy RB in the NFC Championship against the Rams.

RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos rookie running back RJ Harvey had a disappointing showing on the ground in the Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills, carrying the ball six times for only 20 yards. Harvey helped his fantasy managers in PPR leagues by catching five of a season-high six targets for 46 yards through the air, though.

Against a weaker Buffalo run defense, it was a disappointing performance for Harvey, who saw his lowest carry total since Week 10. Things won't get any easier for the second-rounder going into a tough AFC Championship matchup against the visiting New England Patriots. Although Denver may put more of an emphasis on trying to get their ground game going now that starting quarterback Bo Nix (ankle) is out the rest of the way, it doesn't mean that Harvey will have success against a Patriots defense that allowed the fourth-fewest half-PPR points per game to RBs this year, including only eight rushing TDs.

Cooper Kupp, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp had one of the least impactful regular seasons of his career in 2025, recording 47 receptions for 593 yards and two touchdowns on 70 targets across 16 games. However, the 32-year-old had one of his better performances in Seattle's NFC Divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers, hauling in five catches for 60 yards on five targets. Kupp's numbers may not jump off the page, but they are made more impressive when considering that Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold (oblique) threw for just 124 yards on 17 pass attempts in the team's 41-6 win.

In the NFC Championship Game, Kupp will face the organization he spent the first eight years of his career with in the Los Angeles Rams. Kupp was held in check by the Rams in the regular season, recording six catches for 62 yards on 11 targets across two matchups. Still, Kupp played his highest snap share of the season (93% of offensive snaps) in the most recent meeting between the two teams in Week 16. Between the revenge-game motivation and Kupp's encouraging Divisional Round performance, he could be in for a big game in the NFC Championship.

Marvin Mims Jr., Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. saw season highs in offensive snaps, targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns in the team's Divisional Round win over the Bills. Denver seemed to come out of the gates with a clear gameplan, feeding rookie Pat Bryant (concussion) on the first three passing plays of the game. However, when Bryant was knocked from the game with an early concussion, it was Mims who became the focal point of the team's passing attack, finishing the game with a team-leading 93 yards on his eight receptions.

Managers participating in playoff fantasy leagues will need to monitor Bryant's status as he works through the league's concussion protocol. If he is unable to suit up against the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship matchup, Mims could become a necessary outlet for quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who prepares to make his first start in over two years.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks will face a familiar foe in the NFC Championship game this weekend in the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. Smith-Njigba led the NFL with 1,793 yards and scored the third-most touchdowns (10) among wideouts on 119 receptions.

He's proven in his second year in the league that he's one of the best receivers in the NFL, and he'll have a chance to go off for the third straight time this year against a Rams defense that has surrendered the most half-PPR fantasy points to the position in the last five weeks. In the first meeting against L.A. in a Week 11 loss, JSN had a season-high nine catches for 105 yards on 12 targets. In the rematch in the overtime win in Week 16, Smith-Njigba caught eight of 13 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. In what could be a shootout, Smith-Njigba is one of the highest-upside receivers in fantasy this week.
