When Is Tee Higgins Coming Back - Fantasy Football Injury Return Update for Week 14 (2025)

Tee Higgins - Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

When is Tee Higgins coming back? Will Tee Higgins play again this season? Read about Tee Higgins' return date and injury updates for 2025 as of Week 14.

Despite being the Bengals' WR2 behind Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins has proved that he can be a reliable fantasy football WR1 when healthy. He finished as the PPR WR18 in 2022, his last fully healthy season. Unfortunately, staying on the field has been a huge problem for Higgins in recent years.

He only played in 24 out of the Bengals' 34 games from 2023 to 2024, as the team barely missed out on the playoffs in both seasons. The team wants to do anything possible to return to the postseason, and at 4-8, it has to win out to have a chance. It beat the Ravens in Joe Burrow's return last week, but Higgins was not a part of that game due to a concussion that he suffered the week prior.

When will Tee Higgins return to action, and what is his fantasy football outlook when he does? Let's dive in.

Tee Higgins Injury Update for Fantasy Football

Joe Burrow got injured early in the second quarter in Week 2 against the Jaguars, which spelled disaster for Higgins' fantasy production. In his next three games with Jake Browning throwing him the ball, Higgins only managed to put up 69 yards and a touchdown.

However, things drastically improved once Joe Flacco came to town. Higgins recorded 386 yards and five touchdowns in his first five games with the former Super Bowl MVP, as he also averaged 18.5 PPR points per game, making him the WR6 during that span.

Unfortunately, he failed to extend his purple patch of form, as he suffered a concussion against the Patriots in Week 12, which caused him to miss Burrow's return in Week 13.

But it looks like Higgins won't be out for long. Higgins returned to practice on Wednesday as a limited participant, according to Sports Illustrated's Jay Morrison.

He still has some work to do to clear the league's concussion protocol, but he appears on track to return this week against the Bills.

Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Outlook

Cincinnati has no margin for error right now. It's a miracle that it is even alive in the AFC playoff race, as it has the Steelers' mediocrity and the Ravens' 1-5 start to thank for that.

The Bengals' next five games will be against the Bills, Ravens, Dolphins, Cardinals, and Browns. The Bills have held opposing wideouts in check in their last three games, as no WR has exceeded 55 receiving yards against them during that span.

The Ravens defense is mostly healthy again, but as Burrow proved last week, they can still be lit up by an elite quarterback. The Dolphins and Cardinals are bottom-half defenses, while the Browns' third-ranked passing defense has the chance to ruin the Bengals' playoff push in the final week.

Burrow's return is exactly what Higgins and the Bengals need to get them over the hump. In their last seven games together in 2024, the Bengals went 5-2 as Higgins racked up 570 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

Chase was somehow even better, as he recorded 727 yards and seven TDs in that span. Burrow can feed his star wideouts the ball at an incredible rate.

Also, they will face their three most favorable opponents (Ravens, Dolphins, Cardinals) during the fantasy playoffs. Barring any more injuries to himself, Chase, or Burrow, Higgins is set to provide league-winning value for the rest of the year.
