The New York Post is reporting that New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd (abdomen) was shot and critically wounded early on Sunday morning in Manhattan and is "now clinging to life" at Bellevue Hospital, police and sources said. The 29-year-old Boyd was shot in the abdomen after a dispute turned violent. Sources said the shooter fled the scene. Boyd lapsed in and out of consciousness before he was rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition. It's a scary situation for Boyd, but hopefully he can pull through and make a full recovery. Boyd has not played at all in 2025 with the Jets after suffering a shoulder injury in August.--Keith Hernandez
