The Detroit Lions are expecting linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez (knee) to make his 2025 season debut in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Rodriguez has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list all year while recovering from a torn right ACL that he suffered last November. However, the Lions are planning on opening the 26-year-old linebacker's 21-day practice window at some point this week. Detroit will then have 21 days to officially activate the former sixth-rounder from the PUP list. Rodriguez will most likely be eased back into the linebacker rotation for Detroit after he makes his season debut, but his return will be a nice boost for an already strong Lions' defensive unit for the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez
