Cam Skattebo Out for the Season With Dislocated Ankle
New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2025 season after suffering a dislocated ankle in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a brutal blow for an up-and-coming Giants team. Skattebo was already off to a hot start in Philadelphia, handling three carries for 12 yards and catching one of his two targets for an 18-yard touchdown. The rookie out of Arizona State was having a remarkable rookie campaign to this point, recording 101 carries for 410 yards and catching 24 of 32 targets for 207 yards, in addition to seven total touchdowns. Skattebo's season will end with him averaging 16 PPR points per game, and he will be a tough player to replace for fantasy managers. Second-year back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is now expected to step back into the lead role for the Giants and should be a priority add off the waiver wire this week.
