2025 RotoBaller F1 Fantasy League Update
With seven races remaining, it's getting quite tight at the top in the 2025 RotoBaller F1 Fantasy league. Only six points separate Jason Seidenberg and Stuart Allen, as both managers find themselves inside the top 3 of the Global League.
Both managers utilized their Final Fix chips to perfection, replacing their respective McLaren drivers with Max Verstappen. The Dutchman rewarded their bold calls with 35 points on Sunday to shoot up the leaderboards.

Singapore Grand Prix Predictions

- Charles Leclerc, Ferrari
Race

- Lando Norris, McLaren
- Oscar Piastri, McLaren
ONE BIG PREDICTION
Both Aston Martin drivers qualify inside the Top 9 on Saturday afternoon.
Max-imum Effort
It seemed laughable to consider Max Verstappen in the title race during the summer break. However, back-to-back race wins have the four-time Champion on the fringes of a title fight.
For the majority of the 2025 F1 Fantasy season, strategists have been flipping and flopping their top driver from Lando Norris to Oscar Piastri with great success. However, Max Verstappen has been averaging double their points per race since the summer break.
I usually err on the side of caution when it comes to breaking up the structure of your team to fit in one driver, but Verstappen is the exception to the rule. If Red Bull comes firing out of the gate during Free Practice 1 and 2, it's something I'll have to consider as I chase points instead of budget for the final seven races.
F1 Fantasy's Second Best Tier A Constructor
McLaren is set and forget as a constructor at this point in the season, but which of the other Big 4 teams should we pair with the papaya squad?
It's an F1 Fantasy showdown between Ferrari, Red Bull, and Mercedes to be the second constructor in our teams, next to McLaren. Every squad has its pros and cons, and it will be a vital decision as we head into Singapore.
For Ferrari, it has the best driver pairing in Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. Unfortunately, the Italian team can't seem to get out of its own way. Every weekend, it's one step forward and three steps back. They had reliability and consistency on their side during the first half of the season, but over the last five races, their 40 PPR trails Red Bull (56.4 PPR) and Mercedes (47.6).
In Red Bull's corner, you've got the most in-form driver on the grid in Max Verstappen. Back-to-back race wins have him on the outskirts of a title fight. Meanwhile, Yuki Tsunoda produced his best finish of the season in a Red Bull. However, he has had two DNFs in the last three seasons at Singapore and could be tough to trust as the second driver.
Finally, Mercedes has been quietly going about its business. I've nicknamed George Russell 'The Mop' because he will clean up any mess that's left on the grid. The British driver gets the most out of the Silver Arrows car every race weekend.
Trusting Kimi Antonelli to be a part of my F1 Fantasy team makes me nervous, especially at a brand new track for the rookie like Singapore. The Italian was struggling mightily before an outlier performance in Azerbaijan. We will have to wait and see whether that's the start of a final quarter upward swing for Antonelli, or just a one-off race in a disappointing second half.
As of this writing, I'm leaning toward switching my Ferrari constructor over to Red Bull and backing the spectacular Max Verstappen's post-summer break surge. However, I'll certainly wait until the deadline to gather as much practice data as possible.
