The New York Mets have placed left-hander Sean Manaea on the paternity list. Manaea will miss anywhere from one to three days. The 33-year-old has mostly worked out of the Mets' rotation this season, but after a seven-start stretch in which he posted a 7.71 ERA, they moved him to the bullpen earlier this week. Manaea was successful following starter Clay Holmes in a win over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday, as he threw five innings of one-run, four-hit ball with four strikeouts against one walk. He's expected to relieve Holmes again on Sunday against the Washington Nationals.--Connor Byrne
