The Baltimore Orioles placed both outfielders Colton Cowser (concussion) and Tyler O'Neill (wrist) on the injured list on Friday and also recalled outfielder Jordyn Adams from Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move. Cowser was placed on the seven-day concussion injured list, while O'Neill is on the 10-day IL. The O's recently traded away center fielder Cedric Mullins, so combined with the injuries to Cowser and O'Neill, Baltimore will be forced to start Dylan Carlson, Greg Allen and Ryan Noda across the outfield from left to right field on Friday against the Athletics. Jeremiah Jackson could also see more opportunities in the next week to two weeks. Both Cowser and O'Neill have been fantasy disappointments for the struggling O's this year, with Cowser hitting just .213 with nine homers and six steals and O'Neill batting .210 with eight homers on the season.--Keith Hernandez
