Blake Treinen Dominant in Rehab Outing, Nearing Dodgers Return
Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Blake Treinen (forearm) looked sharp in a rehab appearance Sunday for Triple-A Oklahoma City, striking out two in a clean 15-pitch inning. The veteran reliever is closing in on a return to a Dodgers bullpen that has struggled with consistency and injuries. Before landing on the injured list, he racked up two saves while posting a 3.38 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts across eight innings. Treinen is a strong stash candidate for fantasy managers in need of saves or holds, and he could soon challenge Alex Vesia, Ben Casparius, and Tanner Scott for high-leverage opportunities in Los Angeles.
