Alex Freeland Hits Two Home Runs on Tuesday
Alex Freeland went 3-for-5 with two long balls during their contest against Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday evening. This was Freeland's third long ball over his past three games. Over his last 12 games, Freeland has begun to heat up at the plate, holding a .277/.393/.574 slash line with five doubles, three home runs, two stolen bases, and 11 RBI. During this stretch, Freeland has shown a strong eye at the plate, holding a 10:9 K:BB. After posting a modest .243/.335/.396 line during his first 30 games at the Triple-A level during the 2024 campaign, Freeland has begun to take the next step this season. In 50 games, the No. 4-ranked prospect in the system, has posted a much-higher .272/.374/.451 line with 17 doubles and six long balls. Freeland should be in the mix to reach the majors later this season.
