Trevor Megill Locks Down Save No. 10
Trevor Megill closed out the Red Sox on Monday afternoon to earn his 10th save of the season. He entered to start the ninth with a 3-1 lead but walked a pair and gave up an RBI single to Jarren Duran to make the score 3-2. After intentionally walking Rafael Devers for his third free pass of the outing, he got Connor Wong to fly out to right field to end the game. While it wasn't a stress-free outing, for sure, he was able to get the job done. He will likely be unavailable Tuesday after throwing 52 pitches in the last two games, but the 31-year-old righty is still the primary closer for the Brew Crew. If there is a save chance on Tuesday, Jared Koenig would likely be the team's top option since set-up man Abner Uribe has also pitched two days in a row.
