Sam Montembeault Remains Out For Game 5
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault (lower body) will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals. Montreal's top option between the sticks suffered a lower-body injury in Game 3. Jakub Dobes will make his second consecutive start, with Cayden Primeau continuing in a backup role. While Dobes has had a strong rookie campaign with the Canadiens, he was overpowered by Washington in Game 4, allowing three goals on 24 shots in a 5-2 loss. Dobes has recorded a 2.77 goals-against average and a .875 save percentage over one start and one relief appearance in the playoffs.
