The Washington Commanders agreed to terms with free-agent safety Will Harris on a two-year, $8 million deal on Tuesday, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. The deal has a maximum value of $10 million. The former third-round pick (81st overall) by the Detroit Lions in 2019 out of Boston College will head to the NFC East after spending the 2024 campaign with the New Orleans Saints. Harris started 13 games a year ago and finished with 74 tackles (54 solo), an interception and five pass breakups. He will bring some experience to a young Washington secondary and will help make up for the loss of safety Jeremy Chinn, who joined the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. In his six NFL seasons, Harris has a total of 320 tackles (228 solo), 1.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, three interceptions, 19 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 94 games (53 stars).--Keith Hernandez
