Daniel Berger did not have the best of weeks in Hawaii. The American golfer missed the cut despite back-to-back rounds of 69. Simply, he did not make enough birdies to play on the weekend. Unfortunately, 2024 was similar at times for Berger. He missed 11 cuts in 26 tournaments. Berger now has not won an event in almost four years. He did finish tied for second at The RSM Classic in November. Berger had several issues last year including putting and scrambling. He ranked outside the Top 150 in several scrambling metrics. Strokes gained to putting last year was 163rd at -0.404. PGA West at La Quinta is a course where birdies are needed. Berger could struggle again to keep up the pace. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
