Quarterbacks - Late Slate Week 14 DFS Picks

Top Play: Josh Allen- BUF vs. LAR (DK: $8K / FD: $9.8K)

The current favorite to win the NFL MVP sits as the clear top option at the QB position on this slate. Last weekend against a tough San Francisco 49ers defense, Allen tallied four touchdowns (two passing, one rushing, one receiving).

Allen has scored at least 25.0 PPR points in each game since Week 6 and scored 17 total touchdowns during this span. Facing the Rams, who have allowed the 14th-most PPR points to opposing quarterbacks, makes Allen the slate's safest pick.

Contrarian Play: Caleb Williams- CHI vs. SF (DK: $5.6K / FD: $7.3K)

The contrarian option comes with some inherent risk, as Caleb Williams will be playing under a new head coach. While the Chicago game plan may be slightly altered, the former No. 1 overall pick has shown signs of growth over the past two weeks, especially from a fantasy perspective.

During this span, Williams has scored 28.0+ PPR points in each game. In addition, he has added at least 30 rushing yards in each of his past three games. Despite facing a tough 49ers defense, Williams could easily outperform his salary, given his strong play.

Running Backs - Late Slate Week 14 DFS Picks

Top Play: Kyren Williams- BUF vs. LAR (DK: $7.3K / FD: $8.4K)

Williams has found the end zone in his past two games and averaged a solid 15.8 PPR points per game while logging at least 15+ carries per game.

This weekend, he has a fantastic matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who have allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing RBs. Draft him with confidence.

Top Play: James Conner - SEA vs. ARI (DK: $6.7K / FD: $7.6K)

Despite two modest performances over his past two games, Conner should still be viewed as a top option on this limited slate, given his workhorse role in the Arizona backfield.

Before this two-game skid, Conner averaged a stellar 17.3 PPR points per game during Weeks 7 through 10. Even though he has averaged just 10.5 PPR points over his two games, he still saw at least four targets and averaged double-digit rushing attempts per game, suggesting he should provide a safe floor with solid upside.

Contrarian Play: Isaac Guerendo - CHI vs. SF (DK: $5.4K / FD: $5.2K)

With Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) on injured reserve, rookie Isaac Guerendo will lead the San Francisco backfield down the stretch.

While he has not had a sizable workload this season, operating typically as a depth option, he has shown flashes of upside in his limited role, averaging a stellar 6.0 yards per carry.

Facing the Bears, who have allowed the 10th-most PPR points to opposing RBs, should set up Guerendo well for a nice showing in his first career start.

Wide Receivers - Late Slate Week 14 DFS Picks

Top Play: Puka Nacua - BUF vs. LAR (DK: $7.7K / FD: $8.6K)

Over his past four games, Puka Nacua has averaged a stellar 98.5 yards and 7.5 targets per game. During this span, Nacua has tallied two touchdowns and averaged 20.5 PPR points per game.

Despite facing a tough Buffalo secondary, the Rams may need to rely on their passing attack to keep up with a potent Bills offense, which should set up Nacua to continue his impressive stretch.

Top Play: DJ Moore - CHI vs. SF (DK: $6.1K / FD: $6.6K)

After averaging a disappointing 6.1 PPR points per game and looking like a fantasy bust during Weeks 6 through 10, Moore has bounced back quite well, as he has averaged 20.8 PPR points in each of his past three games.

Much of this is due to rookie Caleb Williams’ progression, which has improved the entire offense. While he does have a difficult matchup, stacking Moore with Williams could provide some significant upside at a lower salary cost.

Contrarian Play: Jauan Jennings- CHI vs. SF (DK: $5.2K / FD: $6.4K)

Readers of this weekly column are familiar with my favorite contrarian option, Jauan Jennings. Once again, the No. 1 wide receiver in the San Francisco offense remains underpriced on this slate.

Since Week 10, Jennings has averaged 8.5 targets (most on the team) with 70.0 yards per game. With Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) out, the 49ers may push the ball downfield more often, which will benefit Jennings, given how frequently Brock Purdy looks his way.

Contrarian: Keon Coleman- BUF vs. LAR (DK: $5K / FD: $5.6K)

The rookie has been sidelined during the past three games due to a wrist injury but could return to action this weekend.

Fantasy managers should monitor his status throughout the week, as he could be a nice value player, given his salary. Before his injury, Coleman began to show flashes, averaging 72.0 yards per game with 12.5 PPR points per game over his previous three contests. He has also shown great big-play ability, averaging 9.0 yards after the catch.

Coleman could enjoy a nice return to action facing the Rams, who have allowed the 14th-most PPR points per game this season.

Tight Ends - Late Slate Week 14 DFS Picks

Top Play: Trey McBride- SEA vs. ARI (DK: $6.1K / FD: $7.2K)

With two clear top tight ends on the slate (the other being George Kittle), I would rather target the slightly cheaper option in Trey McBride.

Over his past two games, McBride has seen a remarkable 27 total targets and brought in 12 passes in each game. The last time he faced the Seahawks, he tallied 133 yards with 25.3 PPR points per game.

Contrarian Play: Noah Fant- SEA vs. ARI (DK: $3.6K / FD: $5K)

This slate does not have the best budget options for tight ends, but if you want to save some salary here, Noah Fant is worth a look.

After missing the previous three games due to a groin injury, Fant brought in three of his four targets for 26 yards against a tough Jets defense. While he has another challenging matchup this weekend against the Cardinals, Fant averaged 4.7 targets per game in his three games before suffering the injury.

Defense/Special Teams - Late Slate Week 14 DFS Picks

Top Play: San Francisco 49ers - CHI vs. SF (DK: $3.1K / FD: $4.6K)

The 49ers defense has had two tough showings over the past two weeks but should be poised for a nice bounce-back against a young Chicago Bears team with a new head coach.

Over their past two games, the Bears have allowed eight total sacks and have only eclipsed 20 points once in their past six contests.

Contrarian Play: Arizona Cardinals - SEA vs. ARI (DK: $3K / FD: $3.7K)

My budget option is the Arizona Cardinals, who have put together a nice stretch of performances. Over their past four games, they have tallied 19 sacks and only allowed more than 20 points once.

The last time they faced the Seahawks in Week 12, they allowed just six points and tallied five sacks with an interception.
