Late Slate: Daily Fantasy Football Week 12 NFL DFS Lineup Picks on DraftKings and FanDuel (2024)

Kevin Tompkins' Five Football League Winners

Andy's late slate daily fantasy football Week 12 NFL DFS lineup picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for 2024. Set winning DFS lineups with his expert NFL DFS advice.

Welcome back to our late slate Week 12 DFS picks article here at RotoBaller! In this piece, I will examine my top daily fantasy football lineup plays for the late slate in Week 12 of the NFL season.

In Week 12, we have three games on the NFL DFS late slate on DraftKings and FanDuel -- Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers, and Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks.

The NFL DFS lineup picks and recommendations are based on matchups, overall upside/talent levels, opportunity, salary, and factors such as home-field advantage, implied point totals, and more. Good luck with your DraftKings and FanDuel DFS lineups. Let's dominate this late slate together!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Quarterbacks - Late Slate Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Play: Bo Nix - DEN vs. LV (DK: $6.3K / FD: $8K)

The rookie is coming off his best showing of the season and has another fantastic matchup this weekend against the Las Vegas Raiders. Last weekend against the Atlanta Falcons, the Oregon product went 28-for-33 with 307 yards and four passing scores.

Since Week 8, Nix has averaged a stellar 26.2 PPR points per game. Facing the Raiders, who have allowed the ninth-most PPR points to opposing QBs, makes Nix a top play with elite upside.

Contrarian Play: Jordan Love - SF vs. GB (DK: $6.7K / FD: $7.3K)

My budget option is Jordan Love, who has a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, but with a hefty 48 points total (highest on the slate), Love has a path for a productive afternoon.

Last weekend, Love snapped a two-game slump where he scored under 20.0 PPR points. Since Week 4, Love has fallen under this mark just two times and averaged a solid 260.1 passing yards per game in this span. In addition, Love has also tallied multiple scores in five out of the seven games in this stretch.

Even though he is facing a tough San Francisco defense that has surrendered the eighth-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs, Love should provide a safe floor with stable TD production.

Running Backs - Late Slate Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Play: Christian McCaffrey - SF vs. GB (DK: $8.5K / FD: $9.5K)

Even though Christian McCaffrey has not found the end zone this season, he remains the top RB option on the slate, given his integral role on the San Francisco offense. Over the past two weeks, he has seen 32 rushing attempts and 12 targets his way.

This weekend, he will face the Green Bay Packers, which have allowed the 14th-most PPR points to opposing RBs. In a potentially high-scoring affair, McCaffrey should be in an excellent position to end his TD drought while seeing elite volume.

Top Play:  James Conner - ARI vs. SEA (DK: $6.5K / FD: $7.7K)

My other top running back is James Conner. Coming out of his bye week, Conner should be in a great position to continue his hot stretch against a Seattle defense that is near the middle of the pack in terms of PPR points allowed against opposing RBs.

Over his past four games, Conner has averaged an impressive 17.3 PPR points per game and has seen at least three targets in each contest. Conner should provide one of the safest floors on the slate with high scoring upside.

Contrarian Play: Ameer Abdullah - DEN vs. LV (DK: $4.3K / FD: $5K)

My budget option is a bit risky in Ameer Abdullah. Both RBs ahead of him on the depth chart, Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) left the game early, which allowed Abdullah to tally a late touchdown.

If either RB misses this weekend’s game, Abdullah could see a significant increase in work, especially in the passing game. Even though he is facing a tough Denver defense, Abdullah could be in store for a hefty dose of targets in a game they will likely be trailing in.

Wide Receivers - Late Slate Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Play: DK Metcalf - ARI vs. SEA (DK: $6.6K / FD: $7.9K)

Metcalf returned to action last week following his two-game absence and posted a solid seven-catch, 70 receiving yard line in their victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Now, facing an Arizona secondary allowing the 15th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts, sets Metcalf up nicely to enjoy another strong showing.

Throughout the season, Metcalf has operated as Seattle’s deep threat. He has seen 35.6% of the team’s air yards and holds a stellar 13.4 aDOT. Metcalf has tallied at least 70 yards in five of his eight games this season. He provides a safe floor with an elite ceiling.

Top Play: Marvin Harrison Jr. - ARI vs. SEA (DK: $6.1K / FD: $7.2K)

My other top option also comes from this game. Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled throughout his rookie campaign but has a great matchup on Sunday against the Seahawks, who have allowed the 12th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.

Over his past three games, Harrison has scored at least 16.0+ PPR points and found the end zone in two of them. He should be in line to enjoy similar success this weekend in a favorable matchup.

Contrarian Play: Jauan Jennings- SF vs. GB (DK: $5.6K / FD: $6.7K)

A popular budget option of mine this season continues to be undervalued. Jauan Jennings has operated as the top wideout in the San Francisco offense over the past two weeks and should be expected to do so again on Sunday.

In his past two games, Jennings has seen 11 targets in each contest and averaged 92.0 yards per game. Even though he is facing a tough Green Bay secondary, Brock Purdy clearly trusts Jennings and will continue to find ways to get him the ball, albeit in an unfavorable matchup.

Tight Ends - Late Slate Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Play: Brock Bowers- DEN vs. LV (DK: $6.3K / FD: $7.5K)

The Georgia product is coming off the best showing of his rookie season and should continue his TE1 campaign against the Denver Broncos this weekend. Last Sunday, Bowers tallied a season-high 126 yards and a score on 13 receptions.

Since Week 5, Bowers has averaged an incredible 19.4 PPR points per game with 8.3 receptions and 81.7 yards per game. Bowers has the safest floor and highest upside at this position on the slate, with the lack of proven pass-catching options outside of him in Las Vegas.

Contrarian Play: Trey McBride - ARI vs. SEA (DK: $5.6K / FD: $6.7K)

While McBride is typically a top option, on a slate with George Kittle and Brock Bowers, McBride carries a reasonable salary and will be a popular “budget” option.

Since Week 5, McBride has sourced double-digit PPR points in each game, averaging 5.8 receptions and 71.7 yards per game. McBride should continue to see a heavy dose of targets against a Seattle secondary that has allowed the 14th-most PPR points to opposing TEs.

Defense/Special Teams - Late Slate Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Play: Denver Broncos - DEN vs. LV (DK: $4.2K / FD: $5.1K)

Given their very favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Broncos will be one of the most popular chalk options on this small slate.

Denver has allowed less than 20 points in each of its past two games and tallied at least four sacks in each.

Contrarian Play: Arizona Cardinals - ARI vs. SEA (DK: $2.6K / FD: $3.6K)

My budget option is the Arizona Cardinals, who have been a successful under-the-radar defensive unit over this recent stretch.

Over their previous two games, they have allowed less than 10 points in each game and tallied nine total sacks. Given their cheap salary and impressive recent stretch, they could allow you to target multiple options at a top position while still providing enough upside.
