ANALYSIS: It's been a tough year for San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who was shot during a robbery attempt earlier this year. That delayed his NFL debut, but Pearsall is now back on the field and made a big impact in Week 10, catching his first NFL touchdown.

Pearsall caught four passes for 73 yards against a porous Buccaneers defense. He’s the No. 3 receiver right now behind Jauan Jennings, but his role continues to grow.
The rookie out of Florida is averaging 5.0 targets per game in the three contests he's played this season. And the return of Jennings to the lineup didn't kill his value, as his snap count was right in line with where it had been and he saw a season high in targets.
