ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett’s days as a fantasy football WR2 are over. However, the veteran has played well this season. He is the WR36 for the year, averaging 8.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Lockett had a solid performance in the Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams before the team’s bye week. The veteran wide receiver had three receptions on four targets for 63 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 13.8 fantasy points. However, fantasy players shouldn’t expect that type of production from Lockett moving forward.
The Seahawks have played the past two games with DK Metcalf because of a knee injury. However, the star wide receiver could return for this week’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy players can add Lockett off the waiver wire and use him as a WR3 during the bye weeks. Unfortunately, the veteran has limited fantasy football upside, with Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba healthy.
