Roschon Johnson is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson had a slow start this season. He didn’t see a touch on offense over the first two weeks. However, the second-year running back has played well since getting on the field in Week 3. The former Texas star has averaged nine touches for 36.5 scrimmage yards and 8.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over his past four contests.
More importantly, Johnson has carved out a role at the goal line, totaling three short-yardage rushing touchdowns over the past three games. The second-year pro has formed a solid 1-2 punch in the backfield with D'Andre Swift.

Unfortunately, Johnson has limited fantasy upside with Swift healthy. However, he would be a potential league-winning if the veteran running back missed time with an injury. Fantasy players in deeper leagues should add him off the waiver wire as a bye-week replacement flex option.
