The 2024 NFL season is off and running! We're looking at Week 4 fantasy football starts and sits! We have an interesting primetime matchup for Sunday Night Football with the Buffalo Bills taking on the Baltimore Ravens.

These two teams are both expected to be serious playoff contenders. Heading into the season, many were concerned about Buffalo's retooled roster, though a 3-0 start has calmed many of those fears. The Ravens reached last year's AFC title game, but come into this Week 4 clash sitting at just 1-2 on the year. Though it's early in the season, it almost feels like a must-win game for Baltimore. We'll see lots of fantasy-relevant players on the field in this one and this is unquestionably the marquee matchup on this week's schedule.

Matchups We Love

QB Josh Allen

Allen is a must-start quarterback every week and now has a great matchup against the Ravens in Week 4. Baltimore has allowed the most passing yards (946) this season, and two of the three quarterbacks it has faced (Mahomes and Dak Prescott) threw for over 290 yards. So, Allen should be in for a strong fantasy day this weekend. 

WR Khalil Shakir

Through the first three weeks, it looks like Khalil Shakir is starting to become Allen's go-to target in the middle of the field. Shakir has totaled at least five catches in back-to-back games and is coming off a 19.2 PPR fantasy point day against the Jaguars. Given that recent game and the fact that the Ravens have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to slot wide receivers this year, the Bills playmaker is a sneaky flex option this week.

TE Dalton Kincaid

Many expected Dalton Kincaid to break out in fantasy this year following a solid rookie campaign. But through the first three weeks, it has been hard to trust him. But make sure to get Kincaid in your lineups this week because Baltimore has allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this year. Bowers (18.8 PPR points) and Jake Ferguson (15.5 PPR points) both had strong fantasy days against the Ravens. 

Matchups We Hate

RB James Cook

No, you shouldn't be sitting James Cook this week because he lands in this section. But expectations should be tempered in Week 4 against a tough Ravens defense. Baltimore has given up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season while allowing only 2.8 yards per carry on the ground. 

Other Matchups

QB Lamar Jackson

The Bills have had one of the better defenses to start the season, and they have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. However, you aren't sitting Lamar Jackson in fantasy in this game. Jackson has finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in every contest, including a QB4 finish against the Cowboys last week.

RB Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry ran all over Dallas in Week 3, running for 151 yards and two touchdowns en route to an RB3 finish in PPR formats. Now, he gets a Bills defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2024. Assuming the Ravens don't fall behind big, Henry should have a strong fantasy day. He's a low-end RB1 in Week 4. 

WR Zay Flowers

With the Ravens throwing only 15 times last week, Zay Flowers didn't see many opportunities in the passing game. He caught just three passes for 20 yards. However, expect him to be more involved in Week 4. Even though the Bills are allowing the third-fewest receiving yards (301) to wideouts this year, Christian Kirk just had his best game last week while working in the slot. So, Flowers is a WR2 this week. 

TE Mark Andrews 

After playing only 33% of the team's offensive snaps last week, it's becoming harder and harder to trust Mark Andrews. Andrews has caught two passes or less in two of three games this season. If there were a week to start him, though, it's against the Bills. Buffalo has allowed the third-most receptions (18) to tight ends so far in 2024. As a result, he could be more involved in Week 4 in what should be a close game.
