ANALYSIS: So far, Spears has been a massive letdown for managers who invested in him. He’s yet to play more than 45% of offensive snaps or have more than eight touches in any game this year.
The Titans take on a Miami Dolphins team this week that is missing their starting quarterback. Tennessee should be playing in a favorable game script and could find success on the ground against a Dolphins defense that ranks 31st in defensive rush DVOA.
However, that doesn’t mean much for Spears as he’s been playing second fiddle to starter Tony Pollard.

In addition to all that, Spears also has not graded well in several running back metrics. He is not a recommended starting option for Week 4 and should remain on benches (except for deeper leagues) until he starts seeing more playing time and shows signs of life.
