DraftKings Late Night CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (9/7/24)

Ashton Jeanty - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday's Late Night Slate (9/7/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

The late-night DraftKings slates are going to look a little different this year, but maybe in a good way if this week is any indication. We have a huge five-game slate on the left coast to keep the all-day college football party going. Who's with me? Let's do it!

We start in Eugene with Boise in town. Texas Tech heads to Pullman for the Mike Leach Bowl. Oregon State heads to sunny San Diego to take on the Aztecs. Mississippi State is in Tempe to face the Sun Devils. We end this in L.A. with Utah State facing the Trojans.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/7/24, locking at 10 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Dillon Gabriel, Oregon ($9.7K)

Duck U. showed a willingness to let Gabriel throw until his arm fell off. He attempted 49 passes against Idaho last week. The Boise defense was a revolving door against Georgia Southern. This won't be any better for the Broncos. Gabriel will have a monster game if he hits 40 attempts again.

John Mateer, Washington State ($8.6K)

Abilene Christian's Maverick McIvor threw for over 500 yards on Texas Tech last week. Mateer had 352 yards on just 11 completions with five touchdown passes. He could be in for a monster game on the Palouse.

Behren Morton, Texas Tech ($7.9K)

Morton's stat line was every bit as good as Mateer's in the opener and he's $700 cheaper. The Washington State defense wasn't that bad last week, but they weren't facing a quarterback like Morton either.

Also consider: Miller Moss, USC ($9K); Sam Leavitt, Arizona State ($8.4K); Bryson Barnes, Utah State ($4.9K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Ashton Jeanty, Boise State ($9.5K)

One game into the 2024 season and Ashton Jeanty is already rewriting the Boise State record books. Oregon is going to have a hell of a time trying to corral him.

Woody Marks, USC ($6.4K)

Marks started his USC career a little differently than he played at Mississippi State. He only caught three passes, but he carried the ball 16 times, pounding away at the LSU defense. Marks should find the going a little easier in this game, but I doubt his workload will decrease. Marks could be in for a great game here.

Jam Griffin, Oregon State ($5.8K)

The SDSU run defense wasn't as stout as usual in the opener. Meanwhile, Griffin went for 160 yards on Idaho State in a game in which he was expected to split carries. Anthony Hankerson still had a good game against the Bengals as well. We could see an even split here against San Diego State, but I like Griffin's tough running just a bit better.

Also consider: Jordan James, Oregon ($8.1K); Marquez Cooper, San Diego State ($7.3K); Cam Skattebo, Arizona State ($6.1K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Tez Johnson, Oregon ($8.3K)

Oregon has the fastest receiver room known to man. Johnson was the only one who had a big game in the opener. Much heralded transfer Evan Stewart was very quiet in a game in which his QB threw 49 passes. Johnson is easily the alpha of this group right now. Expect another big one out of him.

Kyle Willams, Washington State ($6.5K)

Cam Ward is gone, but Williams has taken a liking to John Mateer just as easily. Williams racked up 141 yards and scored twice on four receptions. He might not be as efficient against Texas Tech, but he'll have a chance to duplicate the yardage total and should have a few more points for receptions.

Josh Kelly, Texas Tech ($6K)

The Fresno State transfer hauled in 10 of 15 targets in his Red Raiders debut. Expect another big game out of Kelly here. Texas Tech is going to have to throw a ton of passes to keep up with how bad that defense is.

Also consider: Jalen Royals, Utah State ($6.2K); Coy Eakin, Texas Tech ($5.5K); Cam Camper, Boise State ($4.6K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Washington State

You will definitely want Mateer and Kyle Williams with at least one other piece. Most will opt with Kris Hutson or Tre Shackelford, but freshman running back Wayshawn Parker did a lot of damage both on the ground and through the air in the opener. Parker is a great, cheap way to get different in GPPs.

Texas Tech

It's the Mike Leach Bowl...why not game stack it? Behren Morton, Josh Kelly, and Eakin are the stack you want. Caleb Douglas and Tahj Brooks are great secondary options.

Also consider: USC, Oregon
