CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/24/24)

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/24/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

Now that I've got all of you NBA converts, this is the day that college basketball fans wait for. It's a DFS marathon. A 14-hour tilt-fest with 35 games across three big slates from noon to midnight. Hopefully, you get as excited about it as we do! We are closing out a huge day of hoops with 11 games in our prime time window. The appetizer is Florida State at Clemson if that tells you anything about the main course.

That starts with the Aggies in Knoxville to face the Vols. Villanova is up in Hartford to face UConn. Colorado State heads to Sin City for a date with the Rebels. Washington State heads to Tempe to tangle with Sparky. Mississippi State is in Red Stick to face the Tigers. Butler heads to Jersey to take on Seton Hall. Utah is going Buffalo hunting in Boulder. Santa Clara heads up to Spokane to face Gonzaga. The Aztecs are heading up to Silicon Valley to take on Fresno. We close this out with the Battle of L.A. from Pauley Pavillion.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/24/24, starting at 7:45 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9K)

Don't play Simpson against UCLA (Dylan Andrews locked him down), but he's safe against the rest of the conference. He put up 45.75 DraftKings points in Salt Lake City in the first meeting with Utah. Since then he has terrorized the state of Arizona and pulled off a double-overtime win over USC aside from the UCLA debacle. Simpson does a little of everything and a lot of scoring. That's a great combination in DFS.

Isaiah Stevens, Colorado State ($8.1K)

I have a feeling that Stevens could go overlooked on a slate with a lot of big-time Power Six teams in action. We should consider the Mountain West part of the power conferences. It's the Power Seven now. The MWC will have more NCAA tournament bids than the Pac-12 and possibly the ACC. There's some good basketball going on out there.

Stevens is part of the reason why. He has at least 28 DraftKings points in five straight games and doesn't rely solely on scoring to do it. Stevens is one of the more prolific passers in college and rebounds well from the perimeter. He scored 18 points against UNLV the first time around and hit 39 DraftKings points. There's a lot of potential here.

Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($6.9K)

The Creighton transfer has finally adjusted to Spokane. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in five straight games, clearing 40 twice in that span. Nembhard played the entire game in the loss to the Broncos in Santa Clara last month, putting up 36 DraftKings points. If Nembhard can score like he was earlier in the season while keeping the assist numbers up, he could flirt with 40 again here.

Jalen Weaver, Fresno State ($5.3K)

Weaver is only averaging 6.7 points per game on the season, but he has 45 points in the last four games. Hot shooting has him trending upward, but he has also topped 20 DraftKings points in for straight games. He's not just scoring. He's averaging 2.5 assists while his season average is 0.9. He's averaging 3.3 rebounds compared to a season average of 1.9. All of Weaver's numbers are up right now. He feels like a strong value play tonight.

Also consider: Kadary Richmond, Seton Hall ($8.9K); Deivon Smith, Utah ($8.2K); Isaiah Collier, USC ($7.9K); Joseph Girard III, Clemson ($7.3K); Lazar Stefanovic, UCLA ($7.1K); J'Vonne Hadley, Colorado ($6.7K); Xavier DuSell, Fresno State ($6.2K); Adam Miller, Arizona State ($5.9K); Darrion Trammell, San Diego State ($5.2K); Brendan Hausen, Villanova ($4.8K); Chandler Jackson, Florida State ($4.6K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Jamir Watkins, Florida State ($8.3K)

PJ Hall and Clemson got the best of Watkins in the first meeting, but that was over a month ago. Watkins has only been under 30 DraftKings points once in that span. Watkins has scored in double figures in every game since January 6 and has posted a couple of double-doubles since then. This is a guard-heavy slate, so using Watkins in a poor matchup on paper could really set your lineup apart.

Tolu Smith, Mississippi State ($7.3K)

This feels cheap for someone of Smith's caliber. He didn't start against Ole Miss this week, but he still played 25 minutes off the bench and racked up 32.5 DraftKings points. No matter how the Bulldogs decide to use him, Smith will be successful. He's a good scorer and excellent on the boards. That gives him a high floor no matter his role.

Jack Clark, Clemson ($6K)

PJ Hall and Ian Schieffelin get all of the attention, but Clark has quietly strung together a nice string of games since he cracked the starting lineup against North Carolina on February 6. Clark is averaging 7.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game in that span. He does a little of everything and is good at all of it. He's a strong play in the middle tier tonight.

Tobe Awaka, Tennessee ($5K)

Are the Vols finally turning the youngster loose? Awaka played 23 minutes in a hotly contested game against Missouri this week and broke the slate with 35.5 DraftKings points. Awaka's usage has been sporadic and hard to rely on this year, but this double-double in 23 minutes should afford him more playing time. If it doesn't, I give up. Awaka is a beast when he gets minutes.

Also consider: Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($8K); Anton Watson, Gonzaga ($7.9K); Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($7.7K); Cameron Matthews, Mississippi State ($7.4K); Joel Scott, Colorado State ($7.1K); Johnny O'Neil, Santa Clara ($6.9K); Jaden Bediako, Seton Hall ($6.1K); Joshua Morgan, USC ($5.5K); Elijah Saunders, San Diego State ($4.1K); Rueben Chinyelu, Washington State ($3.8K)
