CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/24/24)

Oumar Ballo - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/24/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

Now that I've got all of you NBA converts, this is the day that college basketball fans wait for. It's a DFS marathon. A 14-hour tilt-fest with 35 games across three big slates from noon to midnight. Hopefully, you get as excited about it as we do! This will focus on the 12-game main slate. We'll get to the rest later. We have four nooners today to get us started. Missouri heads to Fayetteville for a Boot battle. Indiana heads to Penn State. Houston infiltrates that new basketball palace in Waco, and The Irish head up to the Loud House.

We start the afternoon in Gainesville with Vandy in town. West Virginia heads to Ames for a little Hilton Magic. BYU is in the Little Apple at the Octagon of Doom. Boston College heads down to Raleigh to take on the Pack. Duke is at Wake for a Tobacco Road tilt. Washington heads to Tucson for some rare main-slate Pac-12 action. Iowa is in Champaign to take on the Illini. We end this down in Fort Worth with Cincinnati in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/24/24, starting at noon EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Terrence Shannon Jr., Illinois ($8.9K)

The Illini are finally back home for the first time in 11 days and Shannon won't have to deal with the hordes of hecklers that have mercilessly let him have it in road games since his return. Through all of that, Shannon still has at least 35 DraftKings points in all but the Nebraska game (28.5) in the last six games. Shannon has been particularly great in his last four games, averaging 30.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 0.5 steals per game in that span. This is a dream matchup with a porous Iowa defense today. Look for Shannon to take advantage at home.

Sean East II, Missouri ($7.2K)

East has had his best two scoring games of the season after missing two weeks with a knee injury. He has scored 25 and 24 points in the last two games with a combined 12 assists and six rebounds. This is something we can work with. East had a solid line in the first game against Arkansas with 28.5 DraftKings points. He only scored 11 points in that game. If he scores 20 points in this one as well, he'll have no problem hitting the mid-30s again.

Mason Madsen, Boston College ($6.3K)

Madsen finally moved into the starting lineup four games ago after success in a bench role. He has averaged 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game in those four starts. He only played five minutes in the first game against North Carolina State, so we can't glean much information from that. All we can do is go by recent performance, which has been strong against strong teams (Florida State, Miami, Duke, and Louisville).

Jeremiah Davenport, Arkansas ($3.8K)

The revolving door of Arkansas guards has been a mess for DFS purposes. Davenport has managed to carve out a nice little bench role for himself no matter what is going on in the starting lineup. He has played 46 minutes over the last three games, averaging 7.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 assists. You can say that's not much, but neither is the price. Davenport's minutes and usage are on the rise. I'll take that production for the price if it allows me to cram another star in the lineup.

Also consider: DJ Horne, North Carolina State ($8.6K); Ace Baldwin Jr., Penn State ($8.3K); Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($8K); Tramon Mark, Arkansas ($7.7K); Hunter Sallis, Wake Forest ($7.4K); Jaeden Zackery, Boston College ($7K); RaeQuan Battle, West Virginia ($6.8K); Jeremy Roach, Duke ($6.5K); Dallin Hall, BYU ($6.2K); Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame ($5.8K); Khalif Battle, Arkansas ($5.2K); Mylik Wilson, Houston ($5K); Jameel Brown, Penn State ($4.3K); Logan Imes, Notre Dame ($4.1K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Kel'el Ware, Indiana ($8.3K)

Ware struggled against Purdue and Ohio State but took out his frustrations on Northwestern and Nebraska in the last week. Ware had 91.5 DraftKings points in those two games. This is a great matchup against a Penn State team that Ware beat up for 41.25 points and a double-double in the first meeting. His ceiling is higher than any other forward on this main slate, especially in this matchup.

Arthur Kaluma, Kansas State ($7.1K)

If Kaluma were an efficient scorer he would be dangerous. He's still dangerous in other ways though. He's the rebounder that makes up for the loss of Ishmael Massoud. Kaluma is a decent passer, and he can still score in bunches. The problem is that it sometimes takes him a lot of shots to do it. BYU has been tough up front, but Kaluma has scored in double figures in 14 of his last 15 games. It feels like we can trust him again.

Zach Hicks, Penn State ($6.4K)

Indiana is strong in the middle, but Hicks doesn't go in there all that often. His strength is drawing the defense out to the perimeter where he picks them apart with long-range shots. Hicks is a good rebounder and a sniper from the three-point line. He has scored in double figures in six straight games. The first of those was against Indiana when he tallied 30.75 DraftKings points. If we get that again, I'll be ecstatic.

Kebba Njie, Notre Dame ($4.9K)

Njie has seen his minutes go up because he provides much energy for the Irish. Over the last four games, he has averaged 6.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks. Not bad for a guy a shade under $5K. The Irish are going to need his size and rim protection against Syracuse. Njie should have no problems reaching 25 minutes for the fourth straight game.

Also consider: Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8.2K); Payton Sandfort, Iowa ($7.7K); Makhi Mitchell, Arkansas ($7.3K); Mackenzie Mgbako, Indiana ($6.7K); Andrew Carr, Wake Forest ($6.6K); Noah Carter, Missouri ($6.3K); Robert Jones, Iowa State ($6.1K); Ja'Vier Francis, Houston ($5.1K); Jamille Reynolds, Cincinnati ($4.7K)
