CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/23/24)

Kyle Filipowski - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/23/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

DraftKings gives us another 15 games today, but the split is a little weird tonight. The main slate is nine games and the night slate is six games. We will concentrate on the nine-game main slate here, but I won't leave you hanging. We'll get to the six-gamer too because there are some good ones in there as well. The Big East gets us started a little early with Butler heading to D.C. to take on Georgetown.

All of the rest of the games start in the regular window. We have the basketball version of the Red River Shootout in Norman. Kentucky heads to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. Wisconsin is at The Barn to take on Minnesota. Ohio State heads to Lincoln to take on Nebraska. West Virginia gets a trip to Orlando to take on UCF. Pitt is in Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech and two of the most exciting freshmen in the country. Duke is in Louisville to take on the Cardinals. Florida State heads to the Loud House to take on Syracuse.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/23/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Posh Alexander, Butler ($7,900)

It took the St. John's transfer a bit to get going for the Bulldogs, but he's there now. Alexander has double-digit points in four straight games while piling up 10 rebounds, 17 steals, and 22 assists. Those are huge peripheral numbers. That's 34 DraftKings points in the last four games in steals alone! Georgetown is playing well of late, but that adds to the allure for me. This should be a close game, meaning big minutes for Posh once again.

Javian McCollum, Oklahoma ($7,300)

McCollum has scored in double figures in every game this season that wasn't a blowout win. His 16 points against Cincinnati on Saturday marked the 11th time this year that he has scored 15 or more. Add to that the uptick in rebounds and assists in conference play, and McCollum has turned out to have a pretty high floor. A lot of that has to do with the competitive games keeping him on the floor more. I'm after the consistency of McCollum here. We can chase upside later.

Naithan George, Georgia Tech ($6,400)

The freshman has played at least 30 minutes in four straight games and has turned into a star. George has 61 points, five rebounds, 31 assists, three steals, and a block in those four games. He has at least 28 DraftKings points in each of those games. It's not against the bottom of the conference either. Those games were against an improving Notre Dame team, a strong Clemson team, Duke (at Cameron Indoor), and defensive stalwart Virginia. I feel like we can trust George in any game after this stretch.

Jamarques Lawrence, Nebraska ($4,900)

After battling a hand injury through the first part of January, Lawrence is back to fantasy relevance over the last week. He has played 62 minutes over the last two games and put up 17 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, and a pair of steals in that span. That's a really good return for a value play. Nebraska's bench players have been fairly inconsistent this year, but Lawrence has played his way back into the lineup. His instant offense off the bench is vital to the team.

Also consider: Jayden Epps, Georgetown ($8,200); Antonio Reeves, Kentucky ($7,700); Raequan Battle, West Virginia ($7,200); Pierre Brooks II, Butler ($6,900); Keisei Tominaga, Nebraska ($6,400); Jay Heath, Georgetown ($6,200); Jaland Lowe, Pittsburgh ($5,900); Kerr Kriisa, West Virginia ($5,700); C.J. Wilcher, Nebraska ($4,600)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Dawson Garcia, Minnesota ($7,700)

Garcia has 52 points and 13 rebounds in the last two games alone! He has scored in double figures in every January game while posting one double-double and falling one rebound shy twice more. This is what we expected from Garcia at the start of the season. An injury slowed him down, but Garcia seems to be back on the fast track now.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($7,400)

This is a tougher matchup against Pitt, but Ndongo has produced against everyone since he joined the starting lineup in the Penn State game back on December 16. Ndongo has scored in double figures in every one of those games and has at least eight rebounds in all but two of those games. Much like teammate Naithan George, Ndongo has proven that he can produce against anyone.

Zvonimir Ivisic, Kentucky ($5,900)

The Croatian Sensation made his long-awaited college debut against Georgia over the weekend and was spectacular, even in limited minutes. Ivisic put up 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks in just 16 minutes of court time. This game stayed close throughout, so this should be what we can expect from Ivisic for the near future as far as minutes go. This kind of production won't happen every night, but if he gets 25 DraftKings points at this price, I think we'll all be pretty happy.

Patrick Suemnick, West Virginia ($5,900)

This rarely happens, but two of my favorite plays on the entire slate are the exact same price tonight. I'm going to justify both of them to you because I will likely use them both as well. Suemnick has played at least 20 minutes in six straight games and has topped 20 DraftKings points in all but the Kansas State game. Suemnick had his best game in the upset of Kansas over the weekend, putting up 20 points, six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Even if Jesse Edwards returns tonight, Suemnick should still see enough minutes for him to hit value again.

Also consider: Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($9,400); Felix Okpara, Ohio State ($7,000); Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($6,400); Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($5,300); Marchelus Avery, Central Florida ($4,500)
