Saturdays are for college hoops! It makes the three college football slates that we lived on all season seem like cupcakes compared to what roundball brings. We have 34 games on three slates to occupy our Saturday. A dozen of them make up the first "main" slate. We will focus on those first. The Big East gets us started with Creighton in Jersey to take on Seton Hall and Marquette in Queens to take on St. John's.
The ACC gives us Virginia Tech in Raleigh to take on the Pack, Louisville up the road in Winston-Salem to take on Wake, and Miami in the Loud House to take on Syracuse. The Big Ten begins with Penn State-Ohio State in Columbus and ends the main slate with Purdue in Iowa City. The Big 12 gives us Baylor down in Austin to take on Texas and Oklahoma in Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats. The SEC gives us South Carolina in Fayetteville and Bama in Knoxville. We also have a Mountain West tilt with San Diego State in Boise. This is going to be a fun one!

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($7,900)
Zakai Zeigler is perfectly content to run the offense and set up his teammates. That's part of what makes him a great player, but it doesn't make him great for DFS. Knecht's shooting range is inside the building and he plays with an unselfish team. That makes him great for DFS. Knecht has scored 103 points in the last three games alone in just 73 minutes of court time. This pace likely won't last, but he also has 18 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and a block in that span. That means he'll produce even if the shot isn't falling. I'm riding the hot streak until he cools off...if he cools off.
Ace Baldwin Jr., Penn State ($7,400)
Baldwin got hot against the Badgers this week and propelled Penn State to the win. Last week he was cold from the floor but racked up 18 assists and 13 steals in two games. Baldwin can be counted on for everything except for blocks. Steals and assists are his real strong points, but he has shown that he can score almost at will. He has the ceiling we're after in GPP formats.
Josh Dix, Iowa ($5,600)
Dix has started the last three games in place of Patrick McCaffrey and has piled up 85.5 DraftKings points. His lights-out shooting has a lot to do with that, but Dix has 10 rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals to go with the 44 points. That's better than the production that McCaffrey was giving the Hawkeyes! McCaffrey is a game-time decision as of now, but I fail to see why Iowa would hurry him back with the way Dix is playing.
Ithiel Horton, Texas ($4,500)
The struggling Longhorns moved Horton into the starting five against his former team on Wednesday and Horton responded with 20 points, three assists, and three rebounds in 37 minutes. This was after Horton hadn't scored a single point in the last three games combined in just 38 minutes of court time. Texas should leave Horton in the lineup, at least for this game. He's earned that much. If he does start, Horton is a huge bargain at this price.

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Zach Edey, Purdue ($10,800)
Edey has 63 points and 34 rebounds (not to mention three assists and four blocks) over 66 minutes in the last two games. That's good for 118 DraftKings points and nearly a point per minute. No one else can match the ceiling of Edey. Iowa doesn't have the size to grapple with Edey this year. It could be a long day for the Hawkeyes on the interior today.
Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($7,400)
Degenhart has at least 20 points and six rebounds in three of the last four games. He is having his way with Mountain West teams not named Colorado State. The Aztecs are going to make life tough on Degenart, but Degenart still had a strong game against Colorado State. They just limited his peripherals (four rebounds, no assists) to make it a subpar DFS day. That likely won't happen again.
Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($5,500)
Myles Stute is out, so the freshman should get another start. He has started the last two games anyway, but we could see him play more minutes. Murray-Boyles has 14 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in 47 minutes in those two starts. That's a nice return for a value play, especially when you consider that he might play around 30 minutes today.
Mohamed Diarra, North Carolina State ($4,500)
Diarra has 24 rebounds in just 44 minutes over the last two games. That kind of play off the bench has netted him a few more minutes. Diarra isn't much of a scorer, but he's efficient when he does get shots. He's still a raw talent, but there's room for him in the Wolfpack frontcourt if he's going to continue producing like this.
