DraftKings splitting the slates tonight gives us 17 games instead of maxing out at 14 or 15. Those slates are too big anyway. The only time that I can really tolerate those massive slates is the first two days of the NCAA Tournament. The rest of the time it's just overkill. Now we get two nice-sized slates with elite competition. This is going to be a fun season if this keeps up!
The night slate begins with A&M in Fayetteville to take on the Hogs. Georgia is in Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. Wisconsin heads to State College to take on Penn State. Kansas heads to Stillwater for a bit of a break against Oklahoma State. Iowa State takes their stifling defense on the road to Provo. Georgia Tech heads over to South Carolina to take on Clemson. UNLV is heading up to Boise to take on the Broncos. We end this in The Pit with Utah State taking on the Lobos.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($8,500)
I can gloss over those games against Oklahoma and Houston. Those are two of the best defenders of the perimeter in the country and, let's face it, Lipsey isn't going to go 1-for-10 from the floor again anytime soon. His numbers were back up where we expect against Oklahoma State over the weekend. Lipsey is second only to Florida International's Arturo Dean in steals per game with 3.4. Add that to his great numbers across the board, and Lipsey has as good of a floor as you'll find at any price.
Ace Baldwin Jr., Penn State ($7,400)
Baldwin's level of thievery has rivaled Lipsey's of late. The VCU transfer has 16 steals in the last three games alone! The reason why I'm after Baldwin here is simple: He has been dreadful from the floor (4-for-17 in the last two games combined), yet still has at least 30 DraftKings points in each of the last three games. Considering that Baldwin is a 35.5% shooter on the season, we should expect his scoring to rise back up to near his season average (12.8).
AJ Storr, Wisconsin ($6,000)
Storr has scored in double figures in every game since the November 20 contest against Virginia. Storr is a very good spot-up shooter for the Badgers. He's a big part of the offense, so his floor remains pretty high. We've seen some opponents have big games against Penn State recently. Storr's scoring and rebounds have ticked up a bit in conference play thanks to all of the games being close. He is averaging 22.2 DraftKings points per game in conference play. He has the potential for more tonight in a favorable matchup.
Max Klesmit, Wisconsin ($5,300)
This is not your typical Wisconsin team. The Badgers have scored more than 70 points in five straight games. That's the longest streak under Greg Gard. You can thank the spot-up shooters on the perimeter like Storr and Klesmit. Klesmit is a little more accurate on threes, but he is very streaky and does little besides score. He's more of a risk than Storr, but Klesmit is perfect for GPP formats. He has at least 24 DraftKings points in three of the last four games.

Great Osobor, Utah State ($9,600)
If you are wondering why the Aggies are ranked, Osobor is the main reason. He is averaging 18.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game on the season. He has been even better in Mountain West play. Osobor has at least 20 points in all four conference games, including 32 against Air Force. He also has at least eight rebounds in all four of those games with two double-doubles. Osobor has at least 50 DraftKings points in three of the four conference games and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($7,300)
Great Osobor was a nightmare for the Rebels over the weekend. Degenhart could do the same tonight. Degenhart isn't quite the force on the glass that Osobor is and he doesn't score quite as much. However, his defense is just as good and Degenhart scores as much as Boise needs him to. I like the upside against a UNLV team that has had problems with athletic big men in recent games.
Hason Ward, Iowa State ($5,000)
Ward still isn't playing a lot of minutes, but he wasn't before he got hurt either. He's a high-energy guy off the bench who can score a bunch of points in a few minutes. Despite playing only 67 minutes in four games since his return, Ward has 43 points and 20 rebounds. That per-minute production is exactly what I'm looking for in a value play, especially if Ward can play a few more minutes.
Tafara Gapare, Georgia Tech ($4,000)
Gapare was removed from the starting lineup over Christmas out in Honolulu but returned against Duke on Saturday. Gapare's minutes were limited thanks to foul trouble, but he was a factor when he was in there. Gapare ended up with eight points and three blocks in 18 minutes. If he sticks in the starting lineup against another big front line in Clemson, Gapare is a nice value play.
