We have reached the end of 2023. Conference play will be almost universal in the new year until March, so let's see what the year's final day has in store for us. It's all Pac-12 today. You know, if they had run the conference this well the whole time, they wouldn't be dead in a few months...

We open in Boulder with Washington State in town. Next up is Arizona heading to Palo Alto to take on Stanford. We then have Washington in Salt Lake City to take on Utah. And we end in Berkeley with Arizona State visiting Cal.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/31/23, starting at 2 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9,000)

Nights like this are becoming the norm for Simpson. He has at least 40 DraftKings points in four straight games. He has scored at least 20 actual points in all of those games as well. He's contributing across the board with 24 rebounds, 22 assists, and 15 steals along with all of those points. I would seriously play him in any matchup right now.

Sahvir Wheeler, Washington ($7,300)

The shot volume is still there for Wheeler, so I think this recent cold stretch won't last that long. He broke out of it with 17 points on Friday, but he still only shot 33% from the floor. The assists are still there. If the scoring gets back to normal level, Wheeler will be a strong fantasy asset again.

Gabe Madsen, Utah ($6,700)

Madsen has at least 26 DraftKings points in five straight games. It has been hard to find any consistency on this Utah team this season, so Madsen's play is a breath of fresh air. It also gives me some confidence to use him here against Washington. The production feels safe.

Adam Miller, Arizona State ($5,400)

Miller's shot was falling against Stanford, and he was back at 25 DraftKings points. We'll call that Northwestern game what it was: good defense on the part of the Wildcats. Cal is a good team, but not good enough to shut Miller down.

Also consider: Caleb Love, Arizona ($8,500); Keonte Kennedy, California ($7,400); Pelle Larson, Arizona ($6,900); Luke O'Brien, Colorado ($5,800); Julian Hammond III, Colorado ($5,000); Jalen Celestine, California ($3,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8,300)

Ballo has been arguably the best player for the Wildcats of late. He posted his third straight double-double on Friday, hasn't been below 25 DraftKings points since November 23, and has scored in double figures in every game this season. The rebounding seems to be here to stay and Ballo is one of the better efficiency scorers in the conference.

Eddie Lampkin Jr., Colorado ($7,200)

We have seen flashes of Lampkin's current run a few times before at TCU, but he was never given consistent enough minutes to have the production stick. It's sticking now. Lampkin has 91.75 DraftKings points over the last three games, missing three straight double-doubles by just one rebound on December 21. I don't see anyone on Washington State that can stop Lampkin if he keeps playing like this.

Spencer Jones, Stanford ($5,300)

Jones played 26 minutes on Friday in his return to the court after nearly a month's absence with a leg injury. He didn't seem limited at all with 23 DraftKings points. He piled up stats in all categories in this one. The shooting was a little rusty, but that just increases the upside for today. He got 10 shots in those 26 minutes. He has a really high ceiling for this price range.

Shawn Phillips Jr., Arizona State ($4,300)

Phillips only played 11 minutes in his return after an eight-game absence, but it was a productive 11 minutes. He put up 11.75 DraftKings points. He was playing 15-20 minutes in the early going. If Phillips gets back up to that range, he can give us some nice value.
