Gabe Davis's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Should you should start or sit Gabe Davis for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit In 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis is arguably the most frustrating player to roster in fantasy football. He is the WR37 for the year, averaging 9.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Some weeks, the wide receiver will struggle to have any fantasy production. Yet, Davis can drop 20 fantasy points in other weeks before you can blink twice.
The fourth-year wide receiver has scored fewer than 8.7 fantasy points in 53.3% of the games this season, including zero in four of the past seven contests. Davis has also had multiple massive weeks, scoring 18 or more fantasy points in 26.7% of his games. Last week, he had his best performance of the year, totaling 130 receiving yards and 21 fantasy points.
Hopefully, fantasy players took advantage of Davis’ massive performance in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, they should glue the wide receiver to their bench this week. The Bills face the New England Patriots in a massive AFC East matchup.
Davis has always struggled against the Patriots, totaling fewer than 45 receiving yards in seven career games against the division rivals. He hasn’t scored a touchdown against New England since Week 13 of the 2022 season.
