Devonta Smith start 'em, sit 'em fantasy football lineup picks for Week 16. Should you start or sit Devonta Smith in Week 16 (2023) fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start In All Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is a strong fantasy WR2 play on Monday against the New York Giants. Smith enters that game having finished with at least 50 receiving yards in seven consecutive contests.
He hit the low end of that range last week against the Seahawks, catching five passes for exactly 50 yards. His usage was down a bit in that one, as the five targets were his fewest since Week 9 when he was targeted three times against the Dallas Cowboys.
There was some injury concern ahead of this game, but Smith was off of the team's final injury report and should be good to go on Monday.
So far this season, Smith has been targeted 102 times, catching 74 passes for 957 yards and six touchdowns. He has a great chance to go over 1,000 yards for the second year in a row on Monday against New York.
The Giants have allowed 225.1 receiving yards per game this season, the 14th-highest mark in the league. It's not necessarily a great matchup for the Eagles, but it's not a bad one either. This should be a chance for Philly to break its losing streak and get back on track. Smith's a high-upside fantasy play who should be started in all formats on Christmas Day.
