Gardner Minshew's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Gardner Minshew for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start In 10-Team Superflex Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew hasn't thrown a touchdown in either of the past two games, but it hasn't really mattered, as the Colts won both to extend their win streak to three contests.
Last week against the Buccaneers, Minshew was 24-for-41 for 251 yards. He was picked off once. He did manage to find the end zone on the ground, finishing with three carries for six yards.
On the season, Minshew has completed 62.96% of his passes for 1,972 with eight touchdowns and seven picks. He's also rushed for three scores. The low touchdown upside makes it tough to trust him any week in one-QB leagues, but the rushing touchdown upside is enough to get Minshew on the QB2 radar in two-QB or superflex formats.
This week, the Colts face Tennessee. Minshew replaced Anthony Richardson due to injury when these teams last met, going 11-for-14 for 155 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Colts won't have running back Jonathan Taylor this week, which could lead to more pass attempts for this offense. That raises Minshew's ceiling, though it also increases the potential for turnovers.
