Jerome Ford's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jerome Ford for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex
ANALYSIS: On just nine rushes in Week 12, Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford had 65 yards and caught four of his seven targets for 14 yards against the Denver Broncos. Since star running back Nick Chubb received a season-ending injury earlier this year, Ford has been a solid replacement as on the season he has 145 carries for 628 yards and three touchdowns. Ford has also reached double-digit scoring in six of the last seven weeks in full-PPR scoring. Fantasy managers are wondering, however, where his worth stands for Week 13?
In Week 13, he'll face the Los Angeles Rams, who sit 12th in the NFL in total yards given up to opposing offenses this season which means Ford could see a tougher time running the ball against Los Angeles. However, Ford has been not only producing on the ground but has been efficient in the receiving game as well, totaling 20 targets in his last four games for the Browns.
Although there is still some concern involved with Ford's fantasy outlook, the receiving upside here makes him worth a dice roll if you need a flex option this week. Ford can be viewed as a flex option against the Rams with RB2 upside.
Ford is the 24th ranked RB in our Half-PPR rankings for Week 13.
