The last great college football season rolls into Week 2 this week. We have 13 games on tap for the early main slate on DraftKings. There are some great games on here with only Kentucky trolling the depths to play Eastern Kentucky. We also have UTEP in Evanston, I can't tell which of those teams is slumming...
We start this off with a couple of big ones. Notre Dame heads to Raleigh to take on North Carolina State. The Ralphies host former rival Nebraska. James Madison heads to Hooville to take on Virginia. We have Purdue hitting the road to Virginia as well, destination: Blacksburg. Troy heads to the Little Apple to take on K-State. Utah heads to Waco to take on reeling Baylor. The afternoon sees A&M head to South Beach. The CyHawk game is in Ames this year. Tulane hosts an SEC school in Mississippi. UNLV visits the Big House. We close this out with Marshall heading to Greenville to take on the Pirates.

I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado ($9,400)
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Sanders' price jumped $2,400 thanks to him breaking nine Colorado records in his first start for the school. The Nebraska defense looked good against Minnesota, but the hyper-tempo of Colorado is going to give them some problems, especially in the thin air of Boulder. Colorado may be forced to go a little slower as well, but not enough for Nebraska to be comfortable. Another big game for Sanders feels likely.
Grant Wells, Virginia Tech ($7,400)
This is what the Hokies thought they were getting out of the Marshall transfer last season. Wells threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns and took another in on the ground against Old Dominion in the opener. Mikey Keene carved up the Purdue defense last week and Wells is about as good as Keene is.
Hudson Card, Purdue ($6,000)
This feels like a major pricing error. Card wasn't all that efficient against Fresno, but efficiency doesn't matter in DFS. He still racked up 254 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns without a turnover. I wouldn't be shocked if Card outperformed Wells, so if it comes down to choosing one of the two, I choose Card based on price. That said, Wells has a higher floor.
Also consider: Michael Pratt, Tulane ($8,800); Devin Leary, Kentucky ($8,300); Gunnar Watson, Troy ($5,700); Jordan McCloud, James Madison ($5,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Quinshon Judkins, Mississippi ($8,100)
I don't like the huge price jump for Judkins this week against a good Tulane defense, but the backfield touches were overwhelmingly in his favor even with Ulysses Bentley IV active. For what it's worth, I also like Bentley a good bit at a discount ($5,000) due to his work in the passing game. That said, Judkins was on the field most of the time while the Mercer game was still a contest. This is going to be close throughout, so the touches will be there and Judkins might be the most talented back in the country. We'll find out if he's matchup-proof in this one.
Deion Hankins, UTEP ($6,000)
Northwestern had some problems with the Rutgers run game and Hankins has carried a monster load for the Miners. In two games, he already has 39 carries for 228 yards and a touchdown. Jacksonville State did a solid job of keeping him in check in the sweltering Alabama heat. Hankins will feel like his running in a walk-in cooler up in Evanston. Expect another large workload here.
Rasheen Ali, Marshall ($4,800)
This price is absurdly low. I know that ECU looked solid against the Michigan run game, but Ali will carry a massive workload here. He racked up 1,743 scrimmage yards and 24 touchdowns in 2021 before playing just three games due to injury last season. Ali was a force against Albany, so it feels safe to say that he's back. 18 carries with this kind of ability are the best bargain on the slate at this price.
Also consider: Audric Estime, Notre Dame ($7,500); Dylan Edwards, Colorado ($6,500); DJ Giddens, Kansas State ($5,800); Anthony Grant, Nebraska (4,400)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Tre Harris, Mississippi ($7,800)
UTSA transfer Zakhari Franklin is expected to be out again, so that leaves Harris as the alpha receiver. Tulane wasn't really beat deep in the opener and I expect that to be the case again. However, Harris should be able to get plenty of catches to help move the ball. This is a situation where the PPR will really help.
Travis Hunter, Colorado ($7,000)
Hunter led the Ralphies with 11 receptions in the opener and played a staggering 122 snaps against TCU in the opener. I expect Colorado to test the Nebraska secondary that performed well in the opener. It's hard to tell which Colorado receiver will have the better day, but Hunter's target share was the greatest, so I'm going with him. He is also the cheaper of the three.
Deion Burks, Purdue ($4,800)
Burks is the new Charlie Jones. Purdue always has that one receiver that shows out and takes over a season. That was Burks in Week 1 and there's no reason for that to go away. Burks only caught four passes, but two of those went the distance. Take away that 84-yard touchdown bomb and Burks still had a strong day for a guy priced in this range.
Xavier Restrepo, Miami ($4,100)
Restrepo was second on the Canes in yardage and tied for first in targets. There's no reason for him to be priced this low. Restrepo didn't find the end zone and might not here either, but honestly, if he catches another five balls for around 60 yards at this price, I'll be thrilled.
Also consider: Evan Stewart, Texas A&M ($7,100); Ali Jennings, Virginia Tech ($6,700); Jha'Quan Jackson, Tulane ($6,300); Alex Bullock, Nebraska ($4,900); Dane Key, Kentucky ($4,700); Ben Sinnott, Kansas State ($4,500); Drake Dabney, Baylor ($4,000)
DraftKings CFB Stacks:
Kentucky
This is going to be a blowout, but most Kentucky players scored well in a blowout last week. Dane Key and Re'Mahn Davis are my main targets, but I expect a nice game out of Devin Leary as well. I think I would stop with those three. Like the first week, I'm not sure how much Kentucky is going to throw the ball here.
Marshall
I don't know if that ECU defense is quite as good as they looked against Michigan, but a Marshall stack is surprisingly cheap. Cam Fancher and Chuck Montgomery are very affordable, and we also touched on just how ridiculously underpriced Rasheen Ali is. The Marshall offense only produced 21 points on Albany, so this could fall flat. However, something can be said for the fantasy points Marshall racked up despite the low scoring output. And you can afford whatever you want aside a three-man Marshall stack.
Also consider: Michigan, Colorado
