Fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 23 of the 2023 MLB season. These are free agent options to add off waivers, and our rankings will help you prioritize.

Welcome back RotoBallers to another edition of the fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 23 -- August 28 through September 3. The calendar will be turning the page to September in a few days, and expect more big league promotions as MLB teams increase their roster size to 40. With that being said, let's focus on which players fantasy managers should add to help them secure a fantasy title.

More top prospects are being called up to the big leagues, and some are producing for fantasy managers immediately. Noelvi Marte, Masyn Winn, Osleivis Basabe, Everson Pereira, Michael Busch, Nolan Schanuel, Parker Meadows, and Kyle Harrison were recently promoted. Top prospects such as Pete Crow-Armstrong, Matt Mervis, Heston Kjerstad, Colton Cowser, Kyle Manzardo, Ceddanne Rafaela, and Connor Norby patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Notable injury notes include Felix Bautista (elbow), who was placed on the 15-day injured list with a UCL injury. Stone Garrett (leg) lands on the 60-day injured list after fracturing his fibula on Wednesday. Pete Alonso (head, neck), Chase Silseth (head), Yandy Diaz (forearm), Nolan Arenado (back), and Kenley Jansen (hamstring) are considered day-to-day. Reinforcements are coming as Mason Miller (elbow) is expected to be activated from the injured list if his next start in the minors goes well.
