Denver Nuggets - NBA Betting Analysis

In Denver's most recent game, Nikola Jokic led the team in scoring with 41 points, but the Nuggets fell to the Heat by a score of 111-108 to the Heat. Going into the game, Denver was an 8-point favorite, adding an ATS loss to their resume.

For the season, the Nuggets are the 15th-ranked scoring unit in the NBA at 115.8 points per game. But looking at their previous five games, the team is in danger of falling in the rankings as they have averaged just 110 points per contest. Denver's three-point shooting numbers are among the best in the NBA, as the team ranks 4th in the NBA, having hit 37.9% of their looks from deep. But given that they are just 30th in possessions per game, their overall scoring numbers are closer to the league average. Currently, the Nuggets are 1st in overall field goal percentage.

This season, the Denver defense ranks 7th in the league, giving up an average of 110.4 points per game. Opposing teams have a field goal percentage of 47.1% and have knocked down 34.4% of their three-point attempts. The Nuggets also rank 1st in the NBA for defensive rebounds. However, when it comes to forcing turnovers, Denver is only 17th, with 13.8 turnovers forced per game.

Miami Heat - NBA Betting Analysis

The Heat enter today's game looking to build some momentum after a 111-108 win over the Nuggets. Gabe Vincent and his 23 led the way for the Heat. Miami was the 8.0-point underdog heading into the game, giving them an ATS win.

The Heat's offense has had difficulties scoring throughout the season at just 109.5 points per game. To make matters worse, they have seen a drop in production lately, averaging just 101 points per contest over their last five games. This season, the Heat are averaging just 96.2 possessions per game. In terms of three-point shooting, they are one of the more efficient teams in the league (4th) with a percentage of 37.9%. Their overall field goal percentage of 50.4% places them 1st in the NBA.

Defensively, the Heat are one of the top units in basketball in large part due to their ability to force turnovers. This season, Miami is generating an average of 12.8 turnovers per game which is 6th in the NBA. They have also done an excellent job cleaning up the boards, ranking 1st in the league. Overall, they are allowing 110.4 points per game (7th) while allowing teams to hit 34.4% of their three-point attempts.

Today's NBA Betting Pick - Nuggets vs. Heat

Today's matchup will be the 4th game of the season between the Nuggets and Heat. So far, the Nuggets have the leg up in the series 3-1. The previous time these two teams faced off resulted in both a straight-up and ATS win for the Heat. Going into the game, Miami was the 8-point underdog. The over/under line for this matchup was set at 216.0 points.

In the Nuggets' previous five games as the favorite, they have a straight-up record of 4-1 while going 2-3 against the spread. In their last three road contests, they are 3-0 ATS and 3-0 straight up. Their previous ten games have an over/under mark of 5-5 with an average of 231 points per contest.

Across Miami's last five games at home, they have an ATS mark of 3-2 while going 3-2 straight-up. As the underdog, the Heat are 2-1 straight up on an average scoring differential of 4 points per game. This has led to an ATS mark of 1-2. Their previous ten games have ended in an average of 213 points per game and an over/under mark of 4-6.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: DEN -2.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Under 214.5
