WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/6/23): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 6/6/23. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel.

After the usual Monday off, the WNBA returns on Tuesday with three games on the schedule, including a huge matchup between two of the best teams in the league as the Aces head to the east coast to take on the Sun. The other games are the Fever taking on the Sky, followed by the Sparks facing the Storm.

If you're looking for WNBA daily fantasy picks and some betting advice this season, then you're in the right place. I'll be here providing picks for any slate with two or more games, as well as adding a little betting advice as well.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 6/6/2023 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Nneka Ogwumike (Los Angeles Sparks) - @ SEA - DK: $9,900, FD: $8,300

Azura Stevens is expected to return tonight, but I think that really just takes opportunities away from Chiney Ogwumike and Dearica Hamby. Nneka's role should be safe.

So far this season, the former WNBA MVP is averaging 20.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, and she's had 20-point double-doubles in the past two contests. She's shown a good ability to draw fouls and get to the line, going 11-for-11 from there last game.

What also helps for this game: the Storm allow the second-highest two-point field goal percentage in the WNBA, as well as the second-most defensive rebounds.

Elizabeth Williams (Chicago Sky) - vs. IND - DK: $7,200, FD: $5,900

After a couple of down years, Elizabeth Williams has looked revitalized this season for the Sky. She's had six or more rebounds in three consecutive games and has seven blocks over that span. Overall, she's recorded multiple blocks four times already.

Tuesday night she faces the Fever, who allow the fifth-most blocks in the league, as well as the fourth-most rebounds. The Fever have been pretty good at preventing opponents from scoring inside, holding them to the third-lowest two-point field goal percentage in the league, but they've also allowed the fourth-most offensive rebounds, and Williams currently ranks 11th in the league in offensive boards per game.

Queen Egbo (Indiana Fever) - @ CHI - DK: $6,400, FD: $4,400

The Aliyah Boston/NaLyssa Smith frontcourt is the future of the Fever, but Queen Egbo is doing her best to establish herself as the team's third big for the long run.

There have been some games where she hasn't made an impact, like when she didn't attempt a shot in 11 minutes against the Sun, but when she's on the floor, she's usually productive. Last game, Egbo had nine points on 4-for-8 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds. And even in that scoreless game against the Sun, she blocked three shots in her limited minutes.

The Sky get blocked the third-most times per game in the WNBA, which should be a good sign for Egbo in this one. Some good value here for a player who might have a low floor, but who also has a pretty good ceiling.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Jewell Loyd (Seattle Storm) - vs. LA - DK: $10,900, FD: $8,400

The Storm aren't a very good team. At 0-4, they're the only WNBA team that hasn't won a game yet, though they've kept three of those games to single digits. A lot of that is because of Jewell Loyd, whose scoring prowess has kept the Storm in games that they otherwise would have been blown out in.

Loyd is currently averaging 28.8 points per game, plus is adding 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest as well. She's taken 25 or more field goal attempts in three of four games so far and is coming off her best game of the season, scoring 37 points on 13-for-26 shooting with six boards and six assists in a loss to the Sparks.

Going forward, I'd consider Loyd the top guard in WNBA fantasy because of her volume. Other top guards have other players who can sometimes step up, but Loyd's going to have to shoot the ball 20-plus times per game to give the Storm any chance.

Kahleah Copper (Chicago Sky) - vs. IND - DK: $8,500, FD: $6,900

Copper has really stepped up as the Sky's leader this season. Her efficiency is down, but she's gone from 11.8 field goal attempts per game last year to 16.1 attempts this year, and she's shooting 50% from three so far.

Last game, Copper scored a season-high 27 points, going 10-for-17 from the field and adding seven rebounds and three assists. Most of her value is in scoring, but she has seven or more boards in four games already this season, so that's an added bonus.

Layshia Clarendon (Los Angeles Sparks) - @ SEA - DK: $6,800, FD: $5,600

It's been nice to see Clarendon get extended run this season after they weren't in the league last year. Through the first four games for the Sparks, they've averaged 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.

They've scored in double figures in two consecutive games, including a season-high 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting last time out while also adding six assists and three steals. Lay has multiple steals in three out of four games already.
