Talen Horton-Tucker is worth considering as a fantasy basketball waiver wire pickup heading into Week 21 of the 2022-23 NBA season.

ANALYSIS: If you're surprised by Talen Horton-Tucker's recent explosion, the explanation resides (mostly) in Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton both missing time of late. Does that mean you should be scared of landing some shares of THT, though? Not at all! In fact, you should get some asap.
Now, for a warning, if you manage a team in a 9-cat league you might want to check those turnovers because they have been incredibly high on the post-ASG stretch: 32 in 7 total games for an average of 4.5 TOPG. Sheesh...
THT, though, has kinda make up for that horrid ball-caring trait with a 14-5-5-1-1 average line in that span. The shooting has been fantastic even on a healthy volume of 11.5 FGA per game (45.6% from the field), and the guy is doing all he can considering he's a forward tasked with leading a team from the freaking point, no less.
Horton-Tucker is contributing numbers all across the board from scoring to rebounding to stealing possession to swatting shots in healthy bunches. This will inevitably come to an end when Utah get all of their starters/main performers back eventually but for now you can feel good adding some shares of THT and running with him in deeper/no-9-cat leagues.
