Coming off of a win in his Duel race and a second-place finish in the season-opening Daytona 500, Joey Logano is the NASCAR Cup Series points leader heading into this weekend's Pala Casino 400 at Auto Club Speedway, holding a two-point advantage over Chris Buescher. It wouldn't be surprising at all if the 2022 Cup Series Champion remained atop the points standings after this race is complete, either. Logano has finished in the top five in five of the last six races at Auto Club Speedway and has ended up seventh or better in nine of the last 10 stages at this track as well. Additionally, the No. 22 Ford was one of the best cars on the high-wear tracks last season, which is a category that Auto Club definitely fits into, as Logano wound up first and fourth in the two Darlington races while also coming in fourth in the Michigan race, which is considered the sister track to Auto Club. Logano should be a top-five contender in Sunday's race and could even end up challenging for the win.--Jordan McAbee
