BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 22% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: With the Seattle Seahawks using multiple tight ends this season, it is always going to be hard to expect Noah Fant to hit TE1 and even TE2 levels of fantasy play on a weekly basis. You just saw it a week ago when he laid an absolute egg facing the Panthers and catching none of his... well, one target...
Fant, who was entering Week 14 after putting up 14.2 PPR points the week before, bounced back on Thursday Night Football with another exact-same 14.2 PPR points to the tune of catching five passes (six targets) for 32 yards and his third touchdown of the season.
The tight end has given his fantasy GMs a little bit of everything though the year. He's been a top-12 TE twice, and a top-24 TE nine times, but he's also finished outside of the top 25 in five other matchups.
Fant, though, is a top-20 tight end this season and the better player at the position doing it in Seattle. He should retain the TE1 role when it comes to the volume of targets he and Will Dissly see ROS, although it's hard to know who of the two would be the one gifted the magic pass that ends in the end zone. That's the risk here, and the main reason making Fant more of a deeper-ish league play than a true 12-team one.
