Dallas Cowboys - NFL Betting Analysis

The Cowboys head into week 15, looking for another win, as they picked up 4 point victory over the Houston Texans (27-23). Although the team came with the win, they were not able to cover the spread. Heading into the game, they were -17.0 point favorites. With their combined 50 points, the two teams exceeded the betting over-under number of 44. Dallas pulled out a comeback victory over the Texans, as they entered the 4th quarter trailing by a score of 23-17. Despite the win, Dallas was not able to cover the spread. Through 13 games, the Cowboys have an ATS record of 8-5. So far, they have an over-under record of 7-6. This week's betting total of 47.5 is slightly higher than the line in their previous games.

As the Cowboys prepare to take on Jacksonville, they have played well on offense, ranking 3rd in points per game at 27.7. Look for the team to put together another strong offensive performance, as they are facing a Jaguars defense ranked 15th in points per game. Although the Cowboys come into the game ranked just 20th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Jacksonville secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Dallas to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, the Cowboys should also be in line for a good performance, as they are one of the better rushing teams in the league and are facing a defense that has its problem stopping the run.

Jacksonville Jaguars - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Jaguars will look to keep things rolling after picking up a 36-22 win over their division rival, the Tennessee Titans. In addition to winning the game, the Jaguars picked up an ATS win as they were 3.5-point underdogs. In terms of the over-under, the teams combined for 58 points, which surpassed the betting line of 41. Despite being the 3.5-point underdogs heading into the game, the Jaguars held a 19-point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Through 13 games, the Jaguars have an ATS record of 5-8. So far, they have an over-under record of 7-6. This week's betting total of 47.5 is slightly higher than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Jaguars' offense is averaging 22.6 points per game, placing them 15th in the NFL, and are matched up against the league's 3rd-ranked defense. In the passing game, the Jaguars will need to be on top of their game, as they are matched up against a Dallas defense that has been tough on opposing quarterbacks. On the ground, our projections show that the Jaguars offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against a Dallas, look for Jacksonville to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 122.2.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Cowboys vs. Jaguars

Dallas comes into the game looking to continue their recent success over Jacksonville, as they have won 2 of their last 3 matchups. The two teams have combined to average 49.0 points per game in their last 3 meetings. Last year, the Cowboys and Jaguars did not play each other.

The Dallas Cowboys have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 2-1. The Cowboys' offense has averaged 29.33 points per game over the 3 most recent meetings with Jacksonville, compared to the Jaguars at 19.7.

The Cowboys have posted a 3-0 record in their previous 3 games. Against the spread, the team is 1-2 in these same games.

Through their last 3 road games, Dallas has an ATS record of just 1-2. However, their overall record was 1-2 while averaging 28.33 points per game.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Jaguars have gone 2-1 straight up. The team has also been excellent vs the spread, going 2-1. Their over-under record in these games was 3-0

Across their last 3 home contests, Jacksonville has been good against the spread posting a mark of 2-1. Their overall mark in these games was 2-1, while averaging 24.0 points per game.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Cowboys -4.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 47.5
