Fantasy Football Injury Reports For NFL WRs: Week 14 Updates for Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson, Jakobi Meyers, Tee Higgins

Amari Cooper - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football WR injury updates and injury reports for wide receivers for Week 14 (2022), as of 12/10, including Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson and Jakobi Meyers.

Welcome to Week 14 of the fantasy football season and the Saturday edition of our WR injury reports! Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for wide receivers in Week 14, as of December 10th. The injury statuses for various NFL wide receivers are up in the air for Week 14, including Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson and

There are some big names on the injury report, with some already being ruled out for Week 14, so knowing exactly where each player stands going into the weekend is crucial. Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Amari Cooper Injury Update

Cooper injured his hip on Thursday and was held out of practice on Friday, but it sounds like it was precautionary.

The situation in Cleveland is tough to pin down right now because we don't know how rusty Deshaun Watson will be. He definitely struggled last week, and that showed up in Cooper's numbers, as he had four catches for just 40 yards. Consider him a WR2 this week.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Bengals receiver Tee Higgins was limited in practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury, but it doesn't sound like it's something that'll impact his ability to be on the field this weekend.

While Higgins loses a little value now that Ja'Marr Chase is back, he's still a borderline WR1 in this high-powered Bengals offense. He was only targeted five times last week, but he still managed to find the end zone, so while his ceiling's lower than it was without Chase, you can still start him with confidence.

D.K. Metcalf Injury Update

Metcalf appeared on the injury report mid-week with a hip issue, but head coach Pete Carroll says that Metcalf will be on the field this week.

Considering he's coming off of a game where he caught eight passes for 127 yards and a touchdown, fantasy managers should believe Carroll and start Metcalf as a low-end WR1.

Mike Williams Injury Update

He's back. Mike Williams is off the injury report and will play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Williams has played in one game since Week 7, and in that game, he had one catch for 15 yards but exited after playing just six offensive snaps. Provided Williams gets a mostly full workload in, he should be considered a boom/bust WR2 play because of his big-play upside in this Chargers offense.

Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy Injury Update

Jerry Jeudy (ankle) is off the injury report. Courtland Sutton (hamstring) has been ruled out.

The Broncos' offense has been a complete disaster this season, ranking last in the NFL in scoring. Not having Sutton hurts, though this news should mean good things for Jeudy, who had four catches for 65 yards last week with Sutton limited, his third-best yardage total of the season. Consider him a high-end WR3 play. Kendall Hinton is worth a dart throw in some DFS lineups.

Diontae Johnson Injury Update

Johnson's been limited in practice all week with a hip injury, which is being described as a new injury, not an extension of his earlier hip injury.

The fact he's been limited in practice as recently as Friday isn't a great sign. This is trending toward being one of "he'll test the hip out in pre-game" type situations, which is probably fine for fantasy managers since he plays in the early window Sunday. If he suits up, he's a WR3 option, but fantasy managers should ensure they have another option on their roster.

Jakobi Meyers Injury Update

Meyers remains in concussion protocol as of Friday, putting his status for Week 14 in serious doubt.

The good news for Meyers' hopes of playing this week? His team plays on Monday night. Of course, the bad news of that is that fantasy managers probably don't want to wait around until Monday. The safest thing to do is to go ahead and rule Meyers out of your fantasy lineup. If he misses Monday's game like he's on track to do, Davante Parker has some added appeal as a WR3/4 play with upside.

Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins Injury Update

The Texans will be without Brandin Cooks (calf) for the second week in a row, while Nico Collins (foot) will be out as well.

The Texans' offense minus their two best receivers is scary, and not in a good way. In a league where you have any better options at receiver, you can just avoid this whole mess, but if you need a dart throw in a deep league, Chris Moore— and Phillip Dorsett, to a lesser extent — is in play.

Treylon Burks Injury Update

Treylon Burks has already been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a concussion. He exited last week's game against the Eagles early after taking a big hit. That he hasn't passed concussion protocol yet isn't a surprise.

The Titans face the Jaguars on Sunday and don't have a lot of receiving threats with Burks sidelined. Robert Woods has appeal as a WR3/4 option, but the nature of this offense makes trusting a pass-catcher a risky proposition. One intriguing play, though, with Burks out is tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo, who caught four passes for 68 yards last week.
