Josh Reynolds is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 31% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Are we sure Josh Reynolds is not a legitimate (at least) fantasy player now? I mean, I know I am, but I'm just asking you all GMs managing out there. Reynolds and QB Jared Goff already shared the field in the Rams, but Reynolds got past 100 PPR points just once in LA from 2017 to 2020.
Now, with both wideout and passer part of the Lions roster, they both are enjoying playing with each other quite a lot. Reynolds' last four games have been absolutely staggering as he's taken advantage of the Lions' injuries weekly.
Reynolds is now on a three-game streak in which he's either gotten 10+ targets or hauled in at least seven receptions. His last three receiving statlines: 10/6/96 in W3, 8/7/81/1 in W4, and 10/6/92 this past Sunday. Now, how do you explain the ridiculous availability (nearly 70% of Yahoo leagues' GMs have yet to catch on to this man's exploits)?
Nobody is going to trust Jared Goff after his first handful of NFL years. They should do, if only for a little while. And if they don't, at least give Reynolds a chance given he's hella hot and what Amon-Ra St. Brown (another out-of-nowhere fantasy darling) was able to pull off in 2021.
I was rather surprised to find Reynolds' rostership still so low after writing about him for a few weeks in a row now. Mostly because I rostered the minute I considered him worth targeting by mid-September. Don't hesitate and do the same.
