Is Mac Jones healthy or injured? Will Jones be active in Week 4? Read the injury updates for New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones.
New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones had a strong showing in his rookie season, but his 2022 season has gotten off to a slow start, as he's already thrown a league-high five interceptions.
To make matters worse, Jones suffered an ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Jones threw for 321 yards in that game but also was picked off three times.
This leaves fantasy managers wondering about Mac Jones and his status right now. Will he play in Week 4?

Mac Jones Injury News
Mac Jones played every snap in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. But at the end of Sunday's game, Jones went down with an ankle injury.
He was hit by Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell after releasing a pass at the end of Sunday's game, with Jones going down and hopping off the field afterwards.
It didn't look good in the moment, and the news after the game confirmed that Jones suffered a significant injury to his left ankle.
Will Mac Jones Play In Week 4?
Considering the severity of the injury, we can probably go ahead and rule Jones out this week.
He hasn't officially been ruled out, but it's tough to imagine that Jones is going to be able to turn around and play this weekend against the Packers after suffering a high ankle sprain.
Jones is reportedly getting a second opinion, though.
Maybe that second opinion will be good news for Jones, but fantasy managers should probably not hold their breath.
If Mac Jones Is Out, Who Will The Patriots Start?
If Jones doesn't play, the Patriots will need to turn to either Brian Hoyer or rookie Bailey Zappe to lead the offense in Week 4, and possibly for a longer amount of time going forward.
Zappe set Division I records for single-season passing yards and touchdowns at Western Kentucky last year, but it makes sense for the Patriots to not throw him into the fire since they have Hoyer on the team.
Hoyer has been around for a long time now and is in his third stint in New England. His last NFL start came in 2020. He hasn't won a start since 2016, though.
For fantasy purposes, Hoyer is a downgrade for the pass-catching weapons in New England and he should not be considered a viable fantasy starting quarterback.
