Ramon Laureano Won't Travel On Upcoming Road Trip
Ramon Laureano (oblique) won't travel with the team on their upcoming road trip, according to manager Mark Kotsay. Instead, Laureano will continue his rehab work in Oakland. "With these injuries, if I gave you a timeline, we'd probably be wrong," Kotsay said. The 28-year-old outfielder is dealing with a left oblique strain and will still need to go on a minor league rehab assignment before he rejoins the A's starting lineup at some point in early September. Fantasy managers in shallow mixed leagues shouldn't hold Laureano if they have other needs. In 309 at-bats in 2022, he's hitting .223/.300/.395 with 12 home runs, 29 RBI, 44 runs scored and 10 stolen bases.
