Mike Evans Day-To-Day With Hamstring Injury
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is "day-to-day" with a hamstring injury that he suffered in practice on Friday at training camp. Evans has a history of minor hamstring injuries, but he should be just fine after sitting out potentially a couple days of practice. Barring another setback with his leg in training camp, the 28-year-old will be just fine for the start of the 2022 regular season. Evans is a no-doubt WR1 in fantasy as one of quarterback Tom Brady's top targets, especially in the red zone. The four-time Pro Bowler had 74 catches on 114 targets for 1,035 yards and a career-high 14 touchdowns in 16 regular season games in 2021. Evans has 27 touchdowns in the last two years with Brady and has reached 1,000 yards in all eight of his NFL seasons.
